Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An Elementary
School in Houston, TX is seeking a qualified Speech-Language
Pathologist to provide essential services to students in grades K-5
for the current school year. This contract position offers the
opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment,
supporting a diverse caseload of 55 students. The role requires a
dedicated professional equipped to enhance communication skills and
promote academic success among young learners. Qualifications: -
Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License - Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology - Experience
in school-based speech therapy services preferred Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP - End Date: End of School Year - Hours: 35-37.5
per week, Monday through Friday - Age Group: Kindergarten through
5th grade - Caseload: Approximately 55 students Key
Responsibilities: - Evaluate and treat speech, language, and
communication disorders in an elementary school setting -
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) -
Maintain accurate records and documentation to track student
progress - Utilize evidence-based strategies to support students
