Job Description Job Description Job Title: Site Surveyor Company: Tiger Star Construction Location: Sealy, TX Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary Tiger Star Construction is seeking a skilled Site Surveyor to manage all site surveying and setting-out activities for construction projects. The Site Surveyor will ensure accurate positioning, alignment, and elevations for earthwork and structural construction, supporting safe and efficient project execution. Key Responsibilities Perform all site surveying and setting-out work in accordance with project plans and specifications Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and layout lines Verify positioning, alignment, and elevations for earthwork operations Check and confirm layout and elevations for structural works , including foundations and concrete structures Ensure survey work complies with approved drawings, tolerances, and construction standards Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field supervisors to resolve layout issues Maintain accurate survey records, field notes, and reports Assist with resolving discrepancies between drawings and site conditions Qualifications Previous 5 yearss experience as a Site Surveyor or similar role in construction Strong understanding of construction drawings, levels, and surveying methods Experience with surveying instruments (total station, GPS, levels) High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work outdoors in active construction environments Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic Micorsoft Office Skills requires Physical Requirements Ability to work on uneven terrain and active construction sites Ability to lift and carry surveying equipment as required Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development
