Job Description:
Description As a Senior Associate in our Income Tax Advisory
team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality tax
compliance, ASC 740 income tax accounting, and advisory services to
a diverse client base, varying from multi-national corporations to
early-stage start-ups. You will oversee complex tax return
preparation, support income tax provision engagements, provide
mentorship to junior staff, and collaborate with senior team
members to address client needs. This position offers opportunities

supportive and growth-focused environment. Note: This position will
be located in our Houston office. Day-to-day responsibilities:
Review and prepare complex federal, state, and local tax returns
for corporations and partnerships. Prepare and review ASC 740 tax
provisions. Collaborate with engagement team to identify and
research complex client issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate
with clients to gather necessary information and provide timely
updates on project progress. Draft technical tax memoranda. Assist
in project management of compliance and consulting engagements.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax
preparation and tax accounting processes. Supervise, train and
mentor junior staff, associates and interns. Receive formal
corporate tax training, on the job training, direct feedback from
top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training
through internal and external resources. Essential traits:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2
years of relevant tax experience, with a strong focus on corporate
and partnership tax. Experience with oil and gas industry clients
is a plus. Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational
skills. Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities
and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a
fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and Proficient in use of
