GEICO, a leader in the auto insurance industry, seeks a proficient Bilingual Claims Specialist committed to enhancing our client services. This position demands fluency in both English and a second language to efficiently manage claims for diverse clientele. As a Bilingual Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will not only handle routine claims but also resolve complex cases sensitively and efficiently, using both languages. The role involves direct communication with policyholders, accurate assessment of damages, and timely claims processing. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized individual who excels in customer interaction and desires to play a crucial role in client satisfaction and retention. Evaluate and process insurance claims in English and one other language. Communicate with policyholders and witnesses to gather detailed incident information. Determine claim validity and authorize payments within specified limits. Document and update claim files and ensure compliance with policy conditions. Coordinate with external adjusters and other parties involved in claim resolution. Provide excellent customer service by informing claimants of the process and setting realistic expectations. Fluency in English and one other language (Spanish preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in claim handling software and office applications. Solid understanding of claims processing and industry regulations. Ability to analyze and interpret insurance policies. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in Claims Handling or Insurance (e.g., CPCU, AIC) is desirable.
