one patient at a time.How you make a difference:The Psychiatric
Nursing Assistant provides direct care to patients under the
direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff and their
designees. Also, provides both psychiatric and medical nursing
assistance services as part of the overall plan of care and within
the nursing standards and policies and procedures of the
facility.Key Responsibilities:Assist licensed nursing personnel in
providing direct care to assigned patients, including health data
collection, observation of behaviors, and assistance with
activities of daily living.Intervene in psychiatric emergencies
using approved techniques, which may include The Mandt System or
restraint/seclusion application.Escort patients off grounds for
hospital visits, activities, or appointments.Engage in ongoing
professional development through in-service education, workshops,
conferences, and self-study to maintain relevant knowledge for the
position.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications &
Requirements:EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent
required.Experience1 year or more direct care experience in a
mental health setting is
preferred.Licenses/CertificationsCertification in a mental health
